The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment is responsible for coordinating a comprehensive program that aims to favorably impact and influence the perception of Dubai Nationals towards entrepreneurship and lower the barriers of entry for new entrepreneurs.

The Establishment's value-added platform includes:

• Increasing social acceptability of taking an entrepreneurial path.
• Raising awareness of specific entrepreneurial opportunities, and of the possibilities of starting a business through ongoing training and seminars.
• Educating interested potential entrepreneurs on how to start-up a business and lowering the barriers to starting new enterprises.
• Matching pent-up entrepreneurial demand with business opportunities relevant to the Dubai economy and investor community. This includes introducing UAE entrepreneurs to the world of franchising and providing ongoing education and support related to starting a franchise, growing a franchise etc.
• Mitigating the risk associated with a new project via concerted Government backing and support.

The Assessment Centre

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders has chosen Profiles International a world leader in human Capital Information to search and design the UAE's Best Entrepreneur Profile.

This process will allow Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders to assess all potential UAE national entrepreneurs through comprehensive assessment centers combined with the state of the art assessment technology provided by Profiles International, thus helping UAE nationals discover their potential to succeed as entrepreneurs and further develop their entrepreneurship competencies.

The three Pyschometric assessments that Entrepreneurs are assessed with are:

• The Profiles XT is a “Total Person” assessment that measures Entrepreneur qualities that make a person productive through assessing the Thinking & reasoning style, Behavioral traits, and Occupational interests. Profiles XT can help you move away from subjectivity and gut-feel, and be your guiding tool to understand and communicate effectively, identify area of development and achieve desired results
• The Profiles Sales Indicator is an excellent tool for identifying Entrepreneur attributes that leads for success in selling. By measuring factors such as competitiveness, persistence, energy, and sales drive. This assessment helps you build a more productive and stronger sales capability.
• The Profiles Performance Indicator measures key behavioral factors and their impact on the critically important aspects of success in business, providing information that makes every Entrepreneur more valuable and productive, by understanding your quality of work, your motivational energy/what motivate you and what can cause you stress and frustrations for future prevention.

The primary purpose of this institute is to provide selected UAE Nationals, sponsored by Damas, with the necessary entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to establish and manage their own jewelry businesses. Successful Graduates of the program will be funded by the Mohammad Bin Rashid establishment for Young Business Leaders and will be provided with the necessary guidance and mentoring during the early stages of establishing their own businesses.
