One day Khalid Al Jowder dreamt of having his own business, one day he dreamt his business will hit the 1 million Dirham mark, and One day this dream came true.

Khalid has started his dream in 2003 with a landscaping service Company, supplying and installing swimming pools, maintaining plants. During his course of business, Khalid perceived demand in the Flower business, so he started sourcing supplies from various markets such as Kenya, Holland & Thailand.

His first steps were supplying flower arrangements to various small businesses. But his hunger for success was not fulfilled yet, through persistent, hard work and wits, Khalid was able to obtain a major contract for Emirates Airline, the contract started with 3 Millions Dirham and was for In-flight flower arrangements for the entire fleet as well as first class counters, lounges, Head quarters, Cargo areas, Danata office, Marhaba services and counters.

Emirates Airlines Contract has grown 40% over the past year. Al Jowder also supplies non-food items worth of 1.1 million to the Emirates Airlines. Khalid is improving the quality of the services he offers by implementing top of the line Storage technology.

For now, Khalid Al Jowder is confident that his business and the market demand will increase at least by 20%. One of the new areas Al Jowder have identified a growth opportunity is Wholesales & Re-export; he’s planning to be there to fulfill this gap.
